Air-frying a steak never crossed my mind until recently. I tried it and let me tell ya'll, the results were marvelous. I've been experimenting with the air fryer A LOT! Air frying a steak was my next project and it was a success! I wanted to note that the size and cut of your steak and your preference for the degree of donenesss will vary the cooking time. It is important to check your steak often in the air fryer while it is cooking.
1 boneless prime rib steak
1 tablespoon meat tenderizer
2 tablespoons of Steak Seasoning
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of butter
sprinkle of pepper and salt (optional)
1 bunch rosemary
Step One: Marinate the steak with the meat tenderizer and steak seasoning for one hour. (I recommend marinating the steak overnight but if you are in a hurry, marinate your steak for at least 30 mins .)
Step Two: Before placing the steak in the air fryer, drizzle olive oil on each side of the steak marinated.
Step Three: Place steak in the air fryer add rosemary, sprinkle pepper and salt (optional). Cook steak for 15 mins at 400F. Check the steak and flip it every 5 mins. (As stated above, your preference for the degree of steak doneness will ultimately determine your cooking time.)
Step Four: Remove steak from air fryer, spread butter over the steak and let it rest for 5 mins to 10 mins. Cut the steak and ENJOY!
